The first blackout since we moved in. Happened while I was busy assembling the bookshelf I bought from IKEA earlier of the day. So pissed off okay. At last, I went outside for a breather and then went to bed. Lols.
Anyway, the sky was exceptionally bright that night, light grey and blue in colour. It reminded me a lot of NS. Especially the survival night. I still remember how we were waken up at two in the morning by our trainers, held hand in hand and walked into the jungle without a single direction. It was pitch-dark except for the moon reflection on the grasses and plants. It was magnificent.
The real thing was when we had to climb up the steep hill bare-handedly. We were all running and scratching like wild animals. I almost cried because I kept on sliding down and my hands were all wet and covered with dirt. But my friends had been really helpful. When we looked up the sky, it was like fantasy. The view was beyond words. Something I’ll never see again in my life.
Just for that moment, all the things that I’d been through in 3 months are worthwhile. And the friendship bond, it’s indescribable. It may sound like a short period, but we had been practically living together. I would never forget the ups and downs that we’d experienced together.
