My first forum-flaming after 6 years of forumwhoring

I didn’t want to create a fuss out of this but when he started to talk about my parents, I’ve decided that it’s just too much.

It’s really low when you’re debating with someone in the virtual world and when he had nothing else in hands to back up his points, he decided to personal attack you instead of the discussed matter. He talked about your real life, friends, family and so on. How pathetic can a person get online?

If you’ve read that conversation you should know very well that:

1. Who started the whole chaos first by accusing me of not checking the links before commenting.

As I said in my very long-winded post, I did and yadda yadda.

2. Who misinterpreted that ‘copy and paste’ equals to ’stealing’ or taking something ‘without permission’.

Talk about reading but not actually reading. Go attend reading classes please.

3. Who used the word ‘threat’ instead of the correct ‘thread’ twice in his posts and then later on explained that it was just a typo when I pointed it out. *rolls eyes*

The words have totally different meanings and how do you expect me to digest your points?

4. Who made all these dramas and said that he’ll ‘quit’ ala crying baby so that everyone would beg him to stay.

Following his way of personal attacking me: Do you quit this easily in real life? I guess you don’t have much success in real life.

5. Who removed the links from the initial post because whatever I said is right all along.

He didn’t admit it but we all know what’s happening.

6. Who shamelessly said that he was letting me win because I’m a girl.

Why should you if you’re on the right? Being a gentleman at the wrong time.

7. Who then had no more points to prove and started to attack my real life and friends.

This is what happens when you’re too obsessed in the virtual world. You start imagining about other people’s life like you know them.

8. Who potrayed me as a ‘kiasu Singaporean’.

It’s not me fellow Singaporeans, it’s him.

9. Who said that he’s worried about my future.

Thanks but no thanks. I believe I’m going to do very well and even better without you.

10. Who did the final and worst attack – on my parents.

Wow he sounds as if he knows me in real life. Kudos to his imagination but leave my parents out of this will you?

He can keep on imagining all he wants but let me tell you, I’m actually a 29-year-old man with 9 kids and just got divorced with my wife because she couldn’t stand my immature behaviour of talking to a moron on a forum.

Okay, that line’s ridiculous, just like him. Things are blown out of proportion and we really are childish and overreacting I know but I wouldn’t get so mad if he didn’t talk about my real life and the people around me. Don’t you love your parents? You can talk whatever you want about me but never ever insult the people around me.

By the way, I’ve cooled down now. Just need something to rant about. Need to practise my chi so that I won’t get upset so easily when I’m living with my friends. -.-
