The OREOns

I was back in KL over the weekend. Apart from reloading cash into my wallet, guess what else did I stock up on?

OREO! Muahahaha.

What?!

Whoever doesn’t know about this oh-so-tempting cookies has got to be joking! It’s the best-selling chocolate sandwich cookies in the world and the only sandwich cookies that I crave for ever since my sister treated me with a bite of it. Others are just not half as good. Not even close.

For your information, I was also the well known Oreo supplier at my NS camp. They knew exactly who they could Oreo with in time of need. Every few nights or so, we would sit at the assembly ground before the last roll call of the day and chat the night away while enjoying the misty atmosphere and having a cup of hot drink with Oreo. Those were the good old memorable days.

And as students, we are always in hunt for good snacks in the class. Having 3-hour lectures every day can be really dull and tiresome.

So we need something that’s chocolaty and sweet to keep us awake for the day.

It is proven that students (particularly of my course) can concentrate better in class after having Oreo during breaktime.

And for most of my friends, this craving lasts for a very long time.

There are a lot of things that go perfectly well with Oreo like milk and cake but my favourite would be ice cream – which explains why there’s always a tub of ice cream AND a few packs of Oreo in my fridge. Having this on a hot day or while rushing for assignments and last minute revision isn’t that bad eh? Oreo definitely keeps me going through hard times like these. =]
