Shining from within

Yes, I’m alive and currently having a quite adventurous life. No, I do not have enough time to update my blog and catch up with my favourite series. Maybe, I’ll be back in a few days with a whole bunch of updates. Now, I’ll be telling you a story about Clean & Clear – Clear Fairness. ;)

To start it off, let’s just say that I had an extremely “productive” and “fruitful” week. Critical reading and thinking debate was definitely the highlight of this semester. How do I even begin to unfold the chronology? Lols.

My group was one of the lucky ones being picked by random. Because everyone had enough deadlines, tests and presentations for the week and we didn’t need another one to add to the expanding list. So yeah, two groups were picked, motion was given and we had to debate a week later. It was about legalising physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia. Embarrassed myself in front of all the juniors with shaking knees and trembling hands. Yeah, I was debater of the day but with a really pathetic mark. Tsk tsk tsk.

At least I’m proud that I half-fulfilled my resolution for the year, to not be a quitter and face whatever that comes with the best I could. I did think of giving up and skipping that lecture altogether because of my extreme fear and lack of self-confidence especially in front of some many audience but I got through it after all.

Want to know what or rather who really inspired me?

Mainly reality shows and talent contests but more importantly people who have the guts to join them. Really, it’s so easy to dream but it takes a lot of courage to actually try to fulfill it.

Imagine without confidence, there would definitely be no Shila from One In A Million.

To inspire other girls, Clean & Clear – Clear Fairness held ‘Time To Shine’ contest to give a chance to those who love to sing and dance a chance to experience stardom. Of course, the winners must be talented with great personality and they were none other than Fasya and Farisa.

Okay okay I admit that I’m a little jealous of them. I mean they are so young, confident and pretty alright! They have all that it takes to win the contest and everything that I don’t. ;( The best reward is that they get to star in Shila’s Hanya Kita MV. Music video wei. Airing nationwide! A huge step closer to becoming stars and with the help and supports from families and friends, they nailed the MV easily.

Entering a contest with your best friend and winning it – sounds like a perfect combination and sweet sixteen gift for me. Hehe. I totally wasted mine thinking about nonsense and daydreaming. Being a bathroom singer myself, the bravest thing I did to fulfill my own dream to be a superstar was to join choir and it was a miserable experience but I shall put that to rest.

The thing is we should have the same attitude and spirit as the two of them towards life. They did what they wanted to and joined the contest without hesitation because they knew what they’re good at and went for it. Even making the simplest decision and carrying the easiest task in everyday’s life need courage, what more to realise and achieve goals in life. Of course, it would be even more meaningful to share the passion and positivity with friends and people around us. Spread the love. :P

It would be nothing without healthy and glowing skin but this is not hard at all to achieve as Clean & Clear – Clear Fairness is the best care in term of facial products.

Clean & Clear – Clear Fairness caters to teens’ needs and also provides opportunity for them to shine because they know that only good skin gives you real confidence. :D
