Got home last Friday. Unpacked. Cleared my bags. Soaked them in soap water for 2 hours. Brushed here and there. Rinsed. Threw them into the washing machine to be washed again and dried. Heard some noise from the old machine. Ignored. Waited for 45 minutes. Buzzer sounded. Took the bags out to be hung.
Clakkkkk.
Something dropped on the floor. Looked around and saw
MY 2-YEAR-OLD SANDISK CRUZER TITANIUM 2GB AND 2-WEEK-OLD SANDISK CRUZER MICRO 16GB.
OMGWTFWTHBANANABBQ. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ran to the computer and tested my thumb drives. The blue and orange light still blink. Opened the files one by one. No error whatsoever. Hung them in front of the table fan to be dried.
This is f.unbelievable.
They survived the tsunami.
That was good luck. I washed my ipod a while ago and it did not fare so well…. Glad your stuff survived in tact!!
