I left my brain at home

You memorise the names of the 29 cabinet ministers of Malaysia like nuts for a 1% quiz.

There are 5 quizzes throughout the semester and they take up 5% of the overall grade.

Crazy, no?

Crazy? Yes. While rote learning has its useful applications (math tables, recitation, etc), it’s no substitute for developing the type of critical thinking that is central to discovery learning. Intellectual curiosity is your friend.

That is crazy!! How can quizzes amount to only 5%!

[Jhnhth] Yeah which is why I think memorising names isn’t gonna help us much. >.<

[Knick Knacks] I know right? ;]
