My Top 5 Treat List

This is actually not just my treat list but it’s for my whole family. I hope that’s okay because treating them makes me happy and that’s certainly the best treat for me!

Initially, I spent quite some time thinking about things that I should reward or treat myself with but I figured out that I should share with my family too because I wouldn’t want to have them any other way.

Also, both of my parents are turning 60 this year – my mom already had just last Tuesday while my dad’s birthday’s on Christmas. Yes you got that right it’s on Christmas itself! Wouldn’t the treat be all the more meaningful? ;]

I’ve been also thinking of getting them something memorable as 60 is quite a big number and a really long journey that they’ve been through together.

Since there are five of us in the family, each of us will get a treat! Am I smart or what? ;P

1. Mom – Proton Persona. She has been eyeing on this as she’s currently freaking out over the end-of-life policy for vehicles. Her Proton Saga is definitely more than 15 years old and previously the foreman had also said that there are serious problems with the engine and it needs to be overhauled or something like that. That costs around RM2k plus, about half of what that old car is worth! Although the government already scraped the policy two days ago, it’s still not worth the repair so might as well get a her a brand new car.

2. Dad – Ogawa Smart Aire. Saw the commercial on WLT a few hours ago. Hehe. Suitable for him as he’s very active in gardening and building stuff for our home sweet home and all that bending, loading and unloading are causing him joint and muscle pain. Take good care of your health dad!

3. Eldest sister – Nikon D300S. Because she’s torn between a compact camera and DLSR since forever! She used to take really nice pictures with my dad’s analog SLR back in her college days so I think she deserves a DSLR now for her talent and skill in photography. Plus I kind of partially spoilt her old digicam. >.<

4. Second sister – Samsung Omnia II. You’ll know why this is the best treat for her when I tell you her current phone model. It’s a Nokia 8310. OMG right? She has been using that phone since she was in Form 5. And she’s 26 now. -.-” Okay lar to be fair to her, she has been looking for a new one since she started working but just couldn’t find THE one. I tried my friend’s before and I think this should do great for her.

5. Fong – Dell Inspiron 13 laptop. In white! I’m using a Dell desktop now and it works wonderfully for me so I would definitely want a Dell laptop too! Then I can bring it to campus or friend’s house for group discussion. Or bring it with me when I go back to KL or travel. Yayness. <333
